UVee – About Us

All about us

We are a team of high school students from Gymnázium Dominika Tatarku in Považská Bystrica, who came together through the JA Slovakia educational programme with one clear goal: to bring an effective, eco-friendly and revolutionary personal disinfection solution to market.

We noticed how many bacteria and viruses accumulate on the everyday objects we use — phones, keys, earphones. Traditional cleaning is often time-consuming, ineffective or requires harsh chemicals. That's why we developed UVee: a compact, stylish and effective cleaning box that harnesses the power of UV light to destroy harmful microorganisms.

The problem with existing UV cleaning boxes on the market is that they were developed for industrial use only — meaning they're too large, don't fit into a modern interior and are hard to handle. We decided to solve this problem: we considered all these aspects during development and added the option to personalise the design.

Róbert Ružička

Adam uses his skills in the world of electrical engineering, design, and team leadership to bring our product to a successful conclusion.

Samo, the financial manager, ensures that the company is managed responsibly, efficiently, and with an emphasis on long-term stability. When making decisions, he tries to combine accuracy in numbers with a strategic view of the company's future development.
